Happy Easter. I made this a couple of years ago, it was from a Mollie Makes kit so not my design, but something I feel quite pleased with as it was my first free hand embroidery and I was learning lots of stitches. ♡♡

Ten butterfly brooches

Ten butterfly brooches, pictures taken at different angles, made in Summer 2018

I took each plain, little, wooden butterfly and decoupaged it using a pretty napkin. They came out various colours and then I super glued the brooch backs on. They are mounted on card.

I sanded and decorated this mini lap desk that's made of MDF , I used green paint and floral  and butterfly napkins on the outside and pretty 'teabag' papers on the inside, apart from the lid which is also in decoupage roses. It took me a couple of months to complete in the summer of 2018 and I love the result!

Seven Year Project!

This cross stitch tapestry was made from an Emily Peacock kit called The Meeting Place, it took me seven years to complete. The pattern itself has my own tweaks due to mistakes and bits of the flowers I thought could be slightly improved.  I thankfully had the cushion made up by someone I found online.
